I just spent a bunch of time dealing with what could be a scam involving Reader’s Choice (also known as Reader’s Source and Magazine Services of America). It seems they attempted to call my teenage son for a week disguising phone numbers and names. When they finally got him on the phone it seems they convinced him he couldn’t cancel subscriptions he was getting and he had been and would be charged $16.95 a month. They convinced him to give his credit card. Before I could cancel the card $49 had already been charged.
